Encore Advanced Vehicle Security Systems With ASK Technology Available to Retailers Nationwide

Encore Automotive Systems, supplier of premium vehicle security and enhancement products, has begun shipping 5 SKUs in its complete line of automotive security and convenience systems. The models—E3, E4, E6, E7 and E9—are currently available for order and delivery to distributors and retail establishments nationwide.

T&W Sales, located in Farmer’s Branch, Texas, was the first to receive the new line. The consumer electronics distributor covers four states for Encore: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. “Product movement has been strong, and response has been great,” said Jason Taylor, president of T&W, adding that the company sent out a flyer to its retail accounts to announce availability of the Encore line.

A significant draw of Encore’s vehicle security and convenience systems is its use of ASK (Amplitude Shift Keying) technology in its remote transceivers. ASK drastically improves range and reliability over similar systems through higher resistance to noise and the ability to transmit more data. In addition, all Encore remotes utilize true built-in antennas—as opposed to antennas embedded in circuit board traces—which further reduce noise susceptibility. Testing of the technology has netted a 60-percent increase in range over standard systems, and a notable improvement in two-way response times. This, combined with inherent lower power consumption, delivers a reliable, low-maintenance user experience.

Dragon Distributing, located in Excelsior Springs, Mo., and covering Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa and parts of Illinois, also received its first shipments of the Encore models.  The 38-year-old wholesaler reported that its retail customers liked both the look of the transceivers and the overall performance of the system. Encore is in the process of getting orders out to other distributors, and is signing up direct retail accounts as well.

“Our launch could not have gone any better,” said John Fernandez, executive vice president of Encore. “We’ve had great response from our customers, and we’ve recently signed on two additional distributors. ASK really makes a difference and gives retailers the ability to tell a real story of why Encore systems are better than factory installed systems, whether they’re just doing keyless entry or full security, convenience and remote start. We closed July on a high note and look forward to a very brisk August.”

Encore Automotive Systems will be on display at MERA KnowledgeFest, held August 28-30 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Conference Center in Dallas.

Encore Automotive Systems was formed by industry experts with more than 45 years of combined experience.
