Wilwood has expanded its Tactical Xtreme TX6 big brake kits to cover late-model Ford HD trucks, including 2023+ Ford F-250 and F-350 models. The front kits utilize TX6-DM calipers mounted directly to the factory spindle, while the rear setups incorporate TX6 calipers on bracket extensions. Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, these kits integrate seamlessly with the factory master cylinder and electronic controls, delivering improved braking performance for off-road adventures, towing, hauling, and heavy-duty applications - all while fitting behind most 20-inch and larger wheels.
At the core of the TX6 kits are lightweight, net-forged aluminum six-piston calipers with staggered bore sizing to ensure balanced braking. Larger-than-OE GTB slotted rotors, with front dimensions of 15 x 1.5 inches and rear dimensions of 15.5 x 1.38 inches, enhance thermal capacity for sustained performance under load. Each kit also includes fade-resistant BP-Q street-performance brake pads, stainless steel flexlines, and premium hardware for reliable, consistent braking. Available in red or black powder coat as standard, the calipers also offer 24 custom colors for those wanting a personalized touch.
