KICKER has introduced the SoloXS L7XS, a new high-output square subwoofer line designed for competition-level bass while retaining the musical performance of the SoloX platform.

The SoloXS lineup is available in 12-, 15-, and 18-inch sizes, with both 1-ohm and 2-ohm dual-voice-coil configurations offered for each size. All three models provide more than 43 mm, or 1.71 inches, of Xmax.

KICKER equips the SoloXS with an oversized ferrite magnet, extra-large dual-spider suspension, double-pressed pulp cone, proprietary NBR surround, cast-aluminum basket, and its Forced-Air Cooling thermal-management system.

The 12- and 15-inch models use three-inch aluminum voice-coil formers, with KICKER recommending 1,500 to 3,000 watts RMS of amplifier power. The 18-inch SoloXS uses a four-inch voice-coil former and carries a recommended amplifier-power range of 2,000 to 4,000 watts RMS.

Another key feature is the field-replaceable recone system. KICKER offers matching recone kits for every SoloXS size and impedance configuration. The pre-assembled cone, voice-coil, and spider assembly uses a surround compression system, bolt-on spider landing, and alignment pins, allowing the assembly to be replaced without gluing.

According to KICKER President Steve Irby, the SoloXS was developed with more power, stroke, and Xmax while retaining the field-replaceable cone design of the SoloX platform.

The SoloXS L7XS lineup is available through KICKER and authorized dealers.
