Beat-Sonic USA has introduced the Encore Sigma (ENS-L201), a plug-and-play amplifier upgrade designed specifically for 2022-and-newer Lexus NX and 2024-and-newer Lexus GX 550 models equipped with the factory audio system but without the optional Mark Levinson audio system.

According to Beat-Sonic, the Encore Sigma is the only plug-and-play amplifier upgrade currently available for these Lexus applications. The system is designed to improve the performance of the factory audio system while retaining the factory head unit, steering wheel controls, navigation, and other OEM features.

The 50-watt x 8-channel Class AB amplifier connects directly to the factory amplifier using OEM-style connectors, allowing installation without cutting wires, modifying the factory harness, or replacing speakers. Built-in RCA outputs and a remote turn-on wire also allow owners to add a powered subwoofer later without rewiring the vehicle.

During the company’s first U.S. installation on a 2026 Lexus NX 450h+, Beat-Sonic measured the factory audio system at 67.0 dB before installation and 79.0 dB after installing the Encore Sigma — a 12 dB increase. According to the company, that increase is perceived as approximately four times louder while also providing clearer midrange, crisper highs, and more controlled bass.

On the Lexus NX, the amplifier installs at the factory amplifier located beneath the center console. Beat-Sonic says most installations can be completed in about an hour using its step-by-step installation guide. The Encore Sigma is manufactured in Japan.

The Encore Sigma is available now for $799 and currently supports 2022-and-newer Lexus NX and 2024-and-newer Lexus GX 550 models without the Mark Levinson audio system. Beat-Sonic says additional Lexus applications are planned. Professional installation is available through the company’s La Mirada, California headquarters and its authorized installer network.
