A few years ago, Ford and Microsoft developed SYNC® – a dynamic, interactive in-car entertainment and communications system. But, because of the intricate nature of the SYNC system, consumers have been limited to the number of aftermarket headunit replacement options available if they wanted to retain all the features SYNC offers.
The new MS-FRD1 from PAC lets you replace the factory radio in many 2008 to 2009 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles while retaining full functionality of SYNC, including USB line-in, streaming Bluetooth audio and phone, SIRIUS satellite radio (if activated), SYNC menus and voice controls, all steering wheel controls and rear seat controls, and the OEM LCD (if available). The MS-FRD1 also provides all navigation outputs (VSS, parking brake, reverse and illumination), as well as retained accessory power and a direct connection for a SWC module.
