PASMAG #157: 20th Anniversary

20 GREAT YEARS. Can you believe it’s been 20 years of PASMAG? We can barely wrap our heads around it. Two decades of Performance Auto and Sound Magazine has been a wild ride from the very beginning, challenging conventions in the automotive landscape, and defying the odds to stay a relevant and powerful source of information and entertainment. From the initial launch of our pilot issues, all the way to modern PASMAG issues, sans-models, some of you readers have been here through it all.

This book serves as a proverbial yearbook of the past 20 years of our magazines, contributors, partners, and audience members. We take a look back at the events, feature cars, people, and projects that made PASMAG the powerhouse of automotive media coverage that it is today. From humble beginnings, the brand has grown to produce more than 190 original print magazines, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the people within these pages.

As you turn the pages, we hope we can take you on a journey back in time to when the modified car scene was still in its infancy. We will time-travel all the way from 1999 to 2019, giving you a glimpse of the cars, the people, and the events that defined entire eras of the aftermarket automotive world. Some of you may even find photos of your much younger selves in here! Don’t worry, no one is judging.

20 great years in our industry has helped us build so many bridges and relationships, and we wanted to showcase all of our family members in this 20th Anniversary issue. Thank you all for 20 years of PASMAG. Here’s to another 20!
