GReddy / Ken Gushi Supra
One of the show’s most insane Mk5 Supras came courtesy of GReddy Performance Products and Ken Gushi. Just like most of the modified Supras at the show, this one featured a Pandem kit. Unlike the others, GReddy’s Supra was a serious purpose-built drift car. The BMW B58 engine is bolstered thanks to a BorgWarner EFR 7163G turbocharger, as well as GReddy’s own intercooler, intake and exhaust manifolds, oil cooler, and exhaust, all functioning in harmony thanks to a MoTeC management system. Instead of the automatic ZF transmission, you’ll find a Samsonas sequential gearbox paired to a ClutchMasters FX850 twin-plate clutch. Helping achieve more angle for drifting is a Wisefab kit and some KW Suspension coilovers. All of the hard work put into building a fully operational drift car earned GReddy the Best GR Supra award from Toyota USA themselves!
