Front Street Media's first Cars & Coffee event of 2020 took place on July 25th at Turn 14 Distribution's HQ in Horsham, Pennsylvania. "It was our biggest turnout yet," mentions Kyle Crawford, Editor of Front Street Media, "and we’ve been throwing these for a couple of years now."
These gatherings are typically hosted earlier in the year, however, by April lockdown and quarantine for the COVID-19 pandemic became standard. When the timing was appropriate, Front Street Media wanted to offer like-minded individuals a space to gather again safely, and by July restrictions were lessening and people, in general, had gained a better understanding of how to mitigate their risk.
"We decided it was the right time to create a semblance of normalcy and host an event again," Crawford states, "and we promoted the wearing of masks and distancing from others where applicable." Most in attendance did their part to abide by their request.
Only an hour after the event kicked off, the hosts found themselves opening more rows of parking to house the influx of vehicles. A diverse collection of vehicles were assembled; if you’re into burly 5-ton trucks, or pristine early-’90s Hondas, you could witness them adjacent to one another in the rows.
