Radium Engineering is officially announcing the release of the new in-tank fuel pump hanger for the Nissan GT-R. This product is the result of months of design, development and testing. Beta track testing at the Circuit of the Americas revealed no fuel starvation issues, previously suffered with other aftermarket in-tank solutions.
Also releasing is a feed line kit that ingrates with the hanger and provides high-flow fuel lines up to the engine bay.
Triple Pumps, Brushed or Brushless
The Radium Engineering fuel hanger for the R35 GT-R completely replaces the factory unit and has the capability to hold up to three fuel pumps, brushed or brushless, or a combination of the two. The fuel pumps are completely enclosed in a collector box, which prevents fuel starvation from occurring during aggressive driving.
The pumps feed out through a single female 10AN ORB port in the top plate, which can accommodate a variety of different adapter fittings. Fuel returning from the regulator enters through an 8AN female port.
As usual, Radium's high current hermetically sealed electrical studs are used.
The full size collector box keeps the pumps submerged in fuel in all conditions to prevent fuel starvation from occurring. Fuel enters the collector box from three different ways:
- 1. A one-way valve in the bottom allows fuel in, but not out.
- 2. The factory venturi jet pumps system is retained and draws fuel from the corners of the fuel tank and moves it into the collector box.
- 3. Returning fuel from the regulator is deposited into the collector box.
The fuel pump hanger can accommodate up to three 39mm body diameter pumps, and the pumps do not have to all be the same. This is ideal for combining brushed and brushless pumps in the same installation.
The fuel hanger installs without any modification to the fuel tank or sheet metal of the GT-R.
The basic fuel hanger kit includes all parts shown below. Short hoses and fittings are included for easy hook-up to the factory fuel lines.
Like all Radium in-tank fuel pump hangers, this product can be purchased with or without pumps included.

Fuel Hanger Feed Line Kit
To accompany the in-tank hanger, Radium offers a comprehensive fuel line kit for the GT-R. This kit includes all parts necessary to create a high flow fuel system from the hanger to the engine bay. All necessary parts are included for a bolt-in installation.
The kit uses twin 6AN PTFE feed lines to supply enough fuel to the engine. This is done to make hose routing easier. The twin lines merge together with custom machined high-flow Y-fittings. The factory feed line is intended to be re-purposed as the return line from the regulator.
A Radium fuel filter is included in the kit and mounts to a specially designed bracket near the front subframe. Two fuel filter element options are available.
