An Audi Quattro S1 E2, a Honda K-swapped BMW E21, and an LS-powered Mercedes-Benz 190E. LIQUI MOLY is bringing an unusual mix of German motorsport heritage and modern engine-swapping culture to Las Vegas, celebrating the 1980s with three distinctive vehicles at the 2026 SEMA and AAPEX shows.
At SEMA, two German classics will showcase very different approaches to modern performance. A BMW E21 featuring a Honda K-Series engine swap and Group 5-inspired bodywork will share the spotlight with a Mercedes-Benz 190E equipped with an LS engine swap and EVO 2-inspired styling. Both builds combine German automotive heritage with Japanese and American performance influences, reflecting the creativity that continues to define the aftermarket.
Meanwhile, at AAPEX, Rayteam Automotive’s 1986 Audi Quattro S1 E2 will represent the rally-inspired side of LIQUI MOLY’s 1980s celebration. A longtime LIQUI MOLY shop partner, Rayteam Automotive receives support from the lubricant manufacturer for its motorsport activities, including hill climb events such as the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Beyond the vehicles, LIQUI MOLY’s SEMA booth will feature appearances by Formula DRIFT driver Matt Field, motorsport personality Sally McNulty, and automotive expert Charles Sanville, better known as the Humble Mechanic. Interactive activities, limited-edition collectibles, and special promotions are also planned throughout the show.
At AAPEX, LIQUI MOLY will showcase its range of automotive oils, additives, greases, and pastes, while introducing iFLEX, a new commercial program designed to support quick-lube businesses through dedicated resources and services.
SEMA takes place November 3–6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with LIQUI MOLY located in Central Hall, booth #23961. AAPEX runs November 3–5 at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, where LIQUI MOLY will be at booth #V3850, with its iFLEX program featured separately at booth #V4345.
