It’s finally the holiday season!
This is the issue we in the office like to refer to as the ‘stocking stuffer.’ With the event season coming to an end, we make it a point to jam pack the Dec/Jan issue with some of the best stuff we’ve seen this year. We ‘up’ the features, provide the best car audio products, and of course, coverage from the Mecca of car shows, SEMA.
To begin, you’ll notice the stunning 2004 Nissan 350Z, we’ve dubbed “Gamma Style.”
Rounding out the pages, we feature a fully loaded Scion xB, a ’03 Infiniti G35, a 2000 BMW M5 and we have a few throwbacks to the good ol’ days; a ’92 Prelude and ’95 Civic Hatchback.
THE COVER CAR
Farhad “Muzzy” Yousefi never imagined he would rebuild his cherished 350Z from the ground up. When he started drifting it in 2007, it looked nothing like what you see here. Much in the same way Dr. Banner bulks up when he gets angry, Yousefi took out his frustration on a bare shell and brought it back meaner and greener than ever. Gamma radiation may have been left out in this tale, but looking through the specifications, nothing else was.
THE EVENT
SEMA Show 2012 - Las Vegas Convention Centre
The annual SEMA Show has come and gone once again. The PASMAG Recon Squad was out in number for full effect at this year's edition. Our new blog brought the newest and best that SEMA had to offer to you live and direct from the show floor and our photo galleries are amongst the coolest and most complete sets you will find anywhere on the web and in print.
THE FEATURED MODEL
The gorgeous Jayde Nicole
When we heard that Jayde Nicole agreed to be the PASMAG cover girl we only had two words to say about it - “Oh Canada!” This buxom brunette from small-town Port Perry, Ontario has been modeling since she was young but burst onto the scene after tantalizing us as Miss January for Playboy’s 2007 calendar, and then as the 2008 Playmate of the Year. Despite revealing it all in those photos however, Jayde told us that she also has five tattoos on her killer body that aren’t seen in the shots. Read on to find out where exactly she keeps them hiding.
ON THE BENCH
Garry Springgay and his crew over at Cogent Audio Labs took some of the best car audio gear to trial. For this month’s issue he tested out the Clarion CZ302 head unit, the PHD FB 6.1 competition component Speaks, the Audiomobile Elite 2212 12” subwoofer, the Phoenix Gold Elite 6.5CS component speakers, the Infinity Kappa 62.11i coaxial seakers and some security gear from Compustar and Fortin, as well as seat heaters from Wirez.
TECH
This month, we take a look at two installs, the first, we install a new head unit and component speakers to our Scion FR-S project car and keeping it in the Scion family, we install a Clifford alarm into our Scion iQ project car.
Enjoy your holidays from all of us at PASMAG.
