Waterfest 2012: Englishtown, NJ

Waterfest 18

If Euro cars are your thing, Waterfest is an absolute must. Since its inception in 2002, thousands of VW and Audi enthusiasts have made the trek to Englishtown, New Jersey for a weekend most noted for its laid-back atmosphere, eye-bugging rides and after-hours debauchery.

Opening day began with some rain, but that was the last we would see of it. By the time the clock struck noon, the lines became longer and personal space got smaller. Over 450 VWs and Audis competing in more than 50 car classes were on hand for car show event. Spectators could carouse the booths, talk shop and pick up some free swag along the way from, most notably, Unitronic, Spec Clutches, Arc Audio and Mcgard, to name a few. But, the focal point was the chipping booth by show sponsor, APR Tuned. All weekend long, builders sat and waited patiently for a chip upgrade, which APR conducted on site. Another popular stop in was the Unitronic Dyno challenge where builders could see what kind of horsepower they’re putting down.

PASMAG would like to thank everyone that made Waterfest a success. Year after year this show never fails to impress the scene as the biggest and baddest VW and Audi meet in the country. See you next year all for Waterfest 19.
