The World’s Largest Celebrity Carshow and Concert Lights Up Ocean City, MD on August 7-8!
July 15, 2010 – (Los Angeles, CA) The 2010 Monster Energy DUB Show Tour Presented by Ford will bring its 10th Annual custom auto show and concert event to Ocean City, MD, on Saturday and Sunday, August 7th and 8th at the Ocean City Convention Center from 10AM to 10PM on Saturday and 10AM to 6PM on Sunday.
The DUB Show Tour event will be held in conjunction with the OC Car Show and will display celebrity vehicles, debut hundreds of new custom cars and bikes, a Tribute to Lowriding, a custom car show competition with thousands of dollars in trophies and cash awards, and provide ticket holders with the chance to experience a Live Concert Performance by Three Six Mafia, a Live DJ set by T-Pain, mingle with celebrities and get autographs. In Ocean City, DUB has invited special guests T-Pain, Three Six Mafia, actress/model Jesse Layne, Lil Trouble, Live Wyya, the Chi-Town Breakers and other Special Guests to be announced to appear and sign autographs or perform on the Main DUB Concert Stage!
There are many aspects to the DUB show which include The Monster Energy Lounge which will have DJs, hot custom vehicles and Gymkhana and action sports videos playing as visitors get to sip on free samples of the new DUB Edition Monster Energy drink.
The Xbox 360 Gaming Arcade booth will host game battle events with the new “Crackdown 2” for game prizes where online gamers go head-to-head. Visitors get a change to win the “Crackdown 2 Cruiser”, a DUB Edition Custom Ford Mustang V6 wrapped with “Crackdown 2” graphics and with a killer game entertainment system. Surprise celebrity guests will sign autographs in the booth.
The Ford Display will showcase Nelly’s DUB Edition Wide-body 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0. It's the return of the 5.0 engine, which hasn't been available since 1994. The exterior of the vehicle features a custom gloss black paint job with flat black racing stripes a one off custom wide-body, the first ever wide-body treatment on the 2011 Mustang in the world. The Pirelli Booth will provide tons of beautiful women on display and signing posters. Gamers also will get to enjoy the 2K Sports MLB 2K10 Gaming Zone that provides them with demos of the new game. Mobil 1 will be spinning their Prize Wheel as you learn why Mobil 1 is the best performance oil for your cars’ engine and will present the Mobil 1 Best in Show Award for a cash Prize of $1,000 to the car judged to be the hottest in the Show.
