As if things weren’t already big enough in Texas, this special Houston event marked the 100th Import Face-Off (IFO) show since their original debut back in 2001. This major event enjoyed a great turnout as usual with nearly 300 show cars in attendance, over 200 racers ready to hit the track, a USACi double point stereo contest and Drift Expo by Joshua Steele and Nevrslo Motorsports.
As the line of competitors grew in size much sooner than expected, IFO organizer’s opened the gates early to ensure every enthusiast got in and registered in time for the show. Competing car clubs included Team 16 Niss, Import All Stars, Team Ikon, Team Sunworks, Team 5 Star, Team Epik, GM Tuners of Houston and Team Next Stage. The coveted Best Club Representation was won by Team Ikon, while Best Club Participation was won by hometown hero’s Team 16 Niss. Best of Show was awarded to Chris Shively with his yellow Nissan 350Z.
With an action packed 25 events scheduled for 2010, it certainly won’t take long to celebrate the 100 more Import Face Off events to come. For full results, scheduled events and more visit www.importfaceoff.net.
