Carlisle Performance & Style Takes Center Stage Starting July 17, 2015
2015 Brings a New Date and a Bigger and Better Show for Weekend Enthusiasts.

It’s new and improved!  The 2015 edition of Carlisle Performance & Style is not only taking place during an all new date, July 17-19 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, it’s now providing even more hands on automotive thrills and will showcase more of what Carlisle Events is known for; cars, people and excitement!  This year is the 20th offering of the show, which launched in 1996.  What makes 2015 different though, is a new date and its new and/or expanding exhibits, displays and guests.

Friday, July 17th starts it all for P&S enthusiasts.  Gone are Mother’s Day conflicts and the potential for a spring rain storm.  Now, the bigger and better show can officially lay claim to being one of the East Coast’s largest sport compact and tuner events.  This helped along by being able to take advantage of warmer temps and longer days which in turn will allow Carlisle Events to offer even more displays and activities to guests who come from the region over for the show.

Hot draws this year include the return of the East Coast Bullies display.  This display, presented by Tuner Evolution, brings the best VIP, JDM, and Performance & Style vehicles on the East Coast to Carlisle.  All vehicles as part of this display will be positioned indoors within Building Z, located under the main grandstand at the fairgrounds.  Not far from the Bullies display in Building Z will be something called LowLaPaLooza.  Found within Building T, longtime friends of Carlisle, LowLifeStyle & JunkStyles, will transform the building into a Stance Hall that features a nice collection of cars that will test the limits of fitment.

More of the best from the East Coast can be found in Building Y via the Timeless Motor Group.  Timeless Motor Group is all about creating inspiration, innovation and value to the automotive market by showcasing the most exquisite, leading brands or automotive products on creatively customized vehicles that represent a unique collection of world class tuners.  The display features SEMA Show builds and creative customized vehicles unique to this group.  There were three new builds last year, and 2015 promises even more excitement.

New for this year is a display called Slam it Like it’s Hot and another presented by Stang Magazine.  The Slam it Like it’s Hot showcase recognizes that trucks come in all sizes and styles.  Big, little, lowered and slammed all come to Carlisle and this year, the display will be part of a dedicated truck showfield and be part of a special invitational display within the pavilion on the east side of the grounds. Judging is available too and you and your truck can take part in fun activities like low truck limbo, frame dragging, burnouts and more.  For readers of Stang Magazine, they’ll enjoy a display in July that focuses on customized Ford Mustangs that attend P&S.  The invitational only display will be under a large tent on the showfield and is open to all modern late model mustangs with custom touches that are owned primarily by younger enthusiasts.

Finally, two aspects of the weekend will give enthusiasts a chance to raise their personal adrenaline meter to all new levels.  NICOFest returns, powered by the NICO Club and helps power drifting and autocross excitement for car owners who drive a Nissan or Infiniti.  Further, there are open autocross and drifting sessions on the track throughout the weekend.  Drivers must wear a helmet and their vehicle must pass a pre-run inspection.  If driving a real car doesn’t do it for you, the gang from Driftsylvania RC Drifting is back too, providing RC driving competition, demos and more.  It’s all available starting July 17 and more details are available at www.Carlisleevents.com.
