BMW is presenting a selection of M Performance Parts at SEMA this year, which was showcased on a modified BMW M4 Coupé and the new BMW M2 Coupé.
The BMW M4 Coupe is fitted with carbon fiber front inserts, mirror caps, diffuser and rear spoiler, while the front trim grille and side gills are finished in high-gloss black. The side sill attachments are made of polyurethane with motor racing stripes applied to the body. For the interior, BMW has finished it with Alcantara and carbon fiber — complete with a new steering wheel, pedals, shifter and LED door projectors.
The Coupe rides on a lowered coilover suspension and the exhaust is composed of a titanium, stainless steel duct with a rear silencer. The inline 6-cylinder with M TwinPower Turbo Technology remains the same, offering an output of 425hp. Fitted with an M twin-clutch transmission, the BMW M4 Coupé at SEMA accelerates in just 4.1 seconds from standing to 60mph. The top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.
BMW also presented M Performance Parts for the BMW M2 Coupé. Similar to the M4, the compact sports car includes high-gloss black grilles with a carbon fiber spoiler and mirror caps. The interior is also similar to the M4, with Alcantara and carbon fiber elements — also sporting a new exhaust and suspension.
The new BMW M Performance Parts will be available for the BMW M4 Coupé starting January 2016 and the Spring 2016 for the M2 Coupé.
