What you’re looking at here is the very first RHD Hakosuka in the state of Hawaii. Dean Pang has been a fan of Nissan’s “Hakosuka” Skyline for as long as he remembers, and when he finally had the chance to import one directly from Japan, he pulled the trigger on his dream. By the time the 1971 Nissan Skyline GT-R landed, Pang already had a variety of plans for the Japanese classic.
With a love for everything that made the classic platform so iconic, his build is centered around a retro resto-mod style, staying true to the car’s original heritage. After months of work the Hako is a truly one-of-a-kind custom build, exclusively built right there on the islands of Hawaii.
