The first electric Ford Mustang made its debut at the LA Auto Show, to some controversial reviews. While some critics are less than thrilled about that the all-electric sedan will sport the Mustang badge, there is a fair amount to be excited about with this release. The first thing to note is that the Mach-E is an SUV. That’s right, an SUV.
Obviously, this results in more space for both cargo and passengers, which could be a great thing for some buyers. With a targeted range of 475 km, and Ford is also expanding its FordPass charging network to make it easy to travel worry-free. Another fun bonus is the front trunk, which is both waterproof and washable, thanks to a drain. Certainly, that could make for a great option if you have muddy gear.
With the various provincial and federal incentives, the Mach-E will be be comparatively well-priced with a starting MSRP of $50,495 in Canada. Interested drivers should consider registering now, as demand may well be high.
