We take a closer look at the "Volkswagen Super Beetle", Carl Ménard's custom 1972 Volkswagen Beetle.
This is one of those things where I scrolled through my feed and something popped up and jumped off the page. Carl Ménard's VW Beetle just has so much personality. I had to dive in to see what's going on and it was already cool. There are copper accents on; it something different and exudes personality. His trunk setup does more of the same. I really enjoy the whole theme here but recently, he added something else that really caught my eye and made this super cool. Ménard added side-exit headers and exhaust! With the sitting right there behind the driver's seat, it took some very cool fabrication work to get something like this. I'm a really big fan of the way it looks. It's 100% unique. Overall, I think it's a very hot rod'y look for a hot rod'y car. As something that was build in the 70s, you can kinda get away with all sorts of chopped and dropped craziness on something like this. Isn't this freaking rad?
