Advanced FLOW engineering (aFe Power), an industry leader in performance intakes, filters, manifolds and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their down pipe for the 11-12 BMW 1/3-series with L6-3.0L (N55) turbo part number 49-76306.
The Mach Force XP down pipe is constructed of mandrel bent, brushed 304 stainless steel tubing and flanges and uses all factory mounting locations. Using a unique resonance chamber to capture sound waves and minimize exhaust "drone", this system produces an aggressive tone on throttle but a smooth sound at cruising speeds without affecting performance. This down pipe is 100% TIG-Welded. Note: aFe's Down Pipe recommends an aftermarket tuner to clear the check engine light.
In recent testing, part number 49-76306 produced a whopping 14hp and 39ft lbs of torque at 1900RPM.
