Wekfest’s custom car showcase returned to the East Coast at the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center in Edison, New Jersey on Sunday, August 28th, and it highlighted custom car culture, its people, and the stories they tell. Let's check out some award winners.
Team EMOTION displayed an assortment of Hondas and received Crew of the Festival 2nd Place, Best Coupe of the Festival for Jonathan’s Acura RSX Type S and Best Honda of the Festival for Tony’s VSM EK9 Civic Type R.
Tough Club received a few awards, including Porsche of the Festival for Ollie’s LS 427 Swapped Porsche 997 Carrera S, S Chassis of the Festival for Paolo’s 180SX and WRX of the Festival for Jordan’s Varis Circuit Time Attack 2015 Subaru WRX STI.
Laith was gunning for S Chassis of the Festival with his 1.5JZ 1996 Nissan S14 240SX, which he didn't win, but he didn’t leave the show empty-handed. Laith gave himself (self-proclaimed) "Cutest of the Festival" for his purp’ for his S14!
