ImportFest returned to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on July 18, once again bringing together enthusiasts from across Ontario, neighbouring provinces, and the United States for a full day of modified cars, aftermarket brands, and automotive culture. With builds filling the show floor from wall to wall, there was no shortage of inspiration for anyone passionate about the modified scene.
The show brought together a broad mix of builds, styles, and enthusiasts under one roof, from long-time show cars and freshly completed projects to street-driven builds, performance cars, trucks, and everything in between. Every aisle offered something different, making it easy to spend hours taking in the details and catching up with fellow enthusiasts.
Leading the exhibitor lineup were sponsors including MotoMaster, Nitto Tire Canada, Toyota, Hagerty, Fitment Works, Toyota Gazoo Racing, Windshield Experts, Drive Marketing Group, and PASMAG, giving attendees the opportunity to check out new products, meet with industry representatives, and see the latest offerings from brands supporting the aftermarket.
For photographer Josh Coish, the event marked his first visit to ImportFest in nearly a decade. Having last attended as a teenager, he returned with a much deeper appreciation for the automotive community and came away impressed by the quality of the builds, the organization of the event, and the atmosphere throughout the day. By the time the show wrapped up, ImportFest had firmly re-established itself as an annual event on his calendar.
As the day came to a close, the action extended beyond the show floor and into downtown Toronto. With barricades and police assistance helping manage the organized rollout, spectators lined the route to watch the cars leave the convention centre, pass through the tunnel exit, and head out into the city, providing one final opportunity to see many of the weekend's standout builds in motion.
Whether attendees came to discover new products, reconnect with friends, photograph incredible builds, or simply spend the day immersed in the modified scene, ImportFest once again delivered a memorable gathering for enthusiasts of all kinds.
